The homemade cream of aloe Vera and calendula is a simple recipe to prepare that we can even have in our kit for emergencies.In addition to its main ingredients, we propose to add soy lecithin and wheat germ oil , which provide a plus of vitamin E and beneficial amino acids.
Ingredients
- ½ cup of aloe Vera gel (100 g)
- 3 tablespoons of calendula flowers (30 g)
- ¼ cup of almond oil (50 g)
- 1 tablespoon of soy lecithin (10 g)
- 1 teaspoon wheat germ oil (5 g)
- Water (the necessary)
Preparation
- Take half a cup of fresh aloe Vera gel, crush it and reserve it.
- Add the calendula flowers in a heat resistant container and put them to marinate with the almond oil at about 70 ºC, until the flowers dry out.
- To soft fire, put the lecithin with the double of water, and agitate it vigorously until obtaining a thick emulsion.
- Then add the calendula oil and wheat germ oil, stirring constantly .
- Remove the product and let it stand at room temperature.
- When it is warm, add the aloe Vera gel and shake until it has a creamy and homogeneous texture.
- Send it in a heat resistant container and store it in the refrigerator to keep it for longer.
Application mode
- When the cream is cold, take the amount you consider appropriate and apply it on the burns.
- Rub it with gentle massage until it is well absorbed.
- Use it up to 2 times a day, every day.
